What a DPC membership is — and what it isn't

We' rather tell you plainly than let you find out later.

A DPC membership is not health insurance.

Your DPC membership covers your everyday care at Viaro — it doesn't cover hospital stays, surgeries, or emergencies, and it doesn't satisfy ACA coverage requirements. We recommend keeping a major-medical or high-deductible plan for the big stuff; a DPC membership pairs beautifully with one (and it's HSA-eligible*).

And you don't need a DPC membership to come here.

Anyone can pay cash at our published prices. A DPC membership is simply the best deal for most people who visit more than a couple times a year.

Fair questions

Then you're exactly who prevention works best for. An annual exam, labs when something feels off, a behavioral health visit in a rough month, same-day access when the kids bring something home from school — membership means you actually use care early, while it's small and cheap, instead of waiting until it's big and expensive.

We recommend it for emergencies, hospitalization, and specialty care — a high-deductible plan pairs especially well, since Viaro covers the everyday care you'd otherwise pay out of pocket under your deductible.

Memberships are for a 12-month term and automatically renew for another 12 months. You may cancel at the end of your current term by providing written notice at least 60 days before your renewal date. We’ll notify you at least 60 days in advance of any membership rate changes that would take effect upon renewal. Contact us for the full terms and conditions.

Yes — kids 0-18 join at reduced rates ($49 Essential / $79 Complete) alongside a parent's membership, and contact us for family plan.
